Artisanal production
Our kitchen sinks come from England, where they have been traditionally made for over 100 years (since 1897). First, clay and water are thoroughly mixed and poured into a porous mold.
When the substance has been able to dry, the mold is removed and the sink is finished by hand. The target? Get the shape as smooth as possible, using different techniques.
It can then take up to 40 hours for them to be covered with a base layer and glazed in an oven heated to 1200 ° C. Although modern technology has made the production process better and more efficient over the years, the principles of traditionally produced kitchen sinks remain the same.
At the end of a production period of 2 to 3 weeks, every sink receives a stamp from "his" craftsman, who can be proud of an authentic product that he has finished himself.
