Extra information

Different finishes belong to the category “Finishing changes and discolours over time”. This means the finish is a “Living Colour” and will discolour and / or change through the months / years. No varnish is applied to these finishes: they age in an ‘elegant way’. This effect creates a unique and distinctive faucet.

The following colours are subject to this phenomenon:

  • Brushed Nickel (NL): The colour becomes more matt and can develop black spots.
  • Raw Brass (OG): The colour will become darker, the parts that are often touched get a patina. Where the water gets the chance to dry on the brass, dark spots are created by oxidation. You can prevent this by drying the tap after use.
  • Polished Brass (OL): The colour will become darker, the parts that are often touched get a patina. Where the water gets the chance to dry on the brass, dark spots are created by oxidation. You can prevent this by drying the tap after use.
  • Brushed Brass (OS): The colour will become darker, the parts that are often touched get a patina. Where the water gets the chance to dry on the brass, dark spots are created by oxidation. You can prevent this by drying the tap after use.
  • Brushed Nickel (NS): The colour becomes more matt and can develop black spots.
  • Tuscan brass (TB): With the parts that are often touched, the finish fades, making the brass visible. It gets a patina.
  • Brushed Black Nickel (NKN): The colour becomes more matt and can develop black spots.

Since these finishes don’t have a varnish layer, acidic products can immediately affect the material. Commercial anti-limescale products should therefore not be used. For the best result to obtain with these finishes, we recommend that you dry the faucet after use. A small effort for a unique faucet.
